about this tomato
San Marzano tomatoes have a centuries-old Italian tradition dating back to the 18th century. These tomatoes have a unique elongated shape, thick flesh and intense flavor. This makes San Marzano tomatoes not only a favorite but also a symbol of Italy's rich culinary tradition.
These tomatoes have spread throughout the world and are often praised by chefs and foodies. They are especially loved for their role in the preparation of classic Italian dishes, such as pizza and pasta. With fewer seeds and little moisture, San Marzano tomatoes are ideal for making flavorful sauces and tomato paste.
