ORO Asten/Someren and Wim Peters Kwekerijen have started a special cooperation since this year. Together they ensure that 2nd class tomatoes, which would otherwise be wasted, are given a tasty destination. Under the SOEPS brand, a delicious soup is made from these tomatoes.

SOEPS is for sale in ORO's Shop at Laan ten Roode 7 in Someren and at Lunchroom Tussendoro in De Ruchte. In this way, the tomatoes get a second life and both organizations contribute to reducing food waste.

But the collaboration goes beyond soup. Participants from ORO also carefully and enthusiastically wrapped birthday presents for all the employees of Wim Peters Kwekerijen. In addition, they made beautiful birdhouses, which have since been hung up on the nursery grounds. This not only creates a colorful and vibrant environment, but also provides valuable daytime activities for ORO's participants. Several new initiatives are already in the pipeline, about which we will share more soon via our social media channels.
