The taste of
Marmande
The Marmande tomato is a classic among tomatoes, known for its rich flavor and robust shape. Originally from France, this variety has a characteristic ribbed appearance. The tomatoes are fleshy, juicy and have a full flavor that is perfect for both salads and hot dishes.
Thanks to its firm texture and delicious balance between sweet and slightly sour, the Marmande is a favorite in the kitchen. It is often used in traditional dishes such as stuffed tomatoes, but is also delicious as carpaccio or sliced on your bread.
Curious about the taste of this special tomato? In the Tomato Cottage you can find year-round Marmande tomatoes.
